By using The Going Price you accept what follows. It is short because the site does little: it publishes buying guides and shows you live eBay listings.
Who runs it
The Going Price is an independent publication, run by one person rather than a company, and it is not operated or endorsed by eBay Inc. beyond our membership of the eBay Partner Network. One address reaches us for everything, legal notices included: hello@thegoingprice.com.
What this site is
The Going Price publishes editorial buying guides and displays listings fetched from eBay. We are not a shop. We do not sell, stock, ship, or handle any item shown here, we take no payment, and we are not a party to any transaction you enter into. Every purchase is a contract between you and the eBay seller, under eBay’s terms.
Accuracy
Prices, availability, condition, and seller details come from eBay and change constantly. A figure shown here was accurate when it was fetched and may not be accurate now. Guides are written once against a sample of listings taken on a stated date; the market moves after that. Price statistics describe a sample, not a guarantee, and nothing here is a valuation, an appraisal, or financial advice.
Guides are drafted with the help of a language model working from real listing data and are reviewed before publication, but they can still be wrong. Check the listing itself before you buy — it is the only authority on what is actually for sale. If you find a mistake, tell us at hello@thegoingprice.com.

Acceptable use
You may read, quote, and link to anything here. You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, republish guides wholesale as your own, or use the site to break the law or eBay’s terms. We may block access that does any of these.
Our content and other people’s
The written guides, the layout, and the way the data is presented belong to The Going Price. Listing titles, product images, prices, and trade marks belong to eBay and to the sellers and brands concerned, and appear here to describe what is for sale. eBay is a trade mark of eBay Inc. This site is not operated, endorsed, or approved by eBay Inc. beyond our participation in the eBay Partner Network.
No warranty, and limits
The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, and may be unavailable or incomplete at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, The Going Price is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from any purchase you make from a seller you found through it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms; the current version always lives at this address with the date below. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
